FAQ’s for AAT Exams
When will exams be available to book?
Exams are available to book online through the APT website. Bookings will be open until two weeks before the exam to enable us to get everything ready.
Where are the exams being held?
All exams will be taking place in either the University Centre Peterborough or our exam mobile at Peterborough College.
Where do I find University Centre Peterborough / Peterborough College?
Both buildings are on the same campus so please use this address:

There are two entrances, for UCP it is sometimes easier to use the postcode PE1 4DX on Sat Nav.
Is there a cancellation fee?
There is no cancellation fee.
Is there a notice period for cancelling an exam?
No, you can cancel at any time, even on the day as long as it’s before the exam starts.
Do I get free resits and how many resits can I take?
There are no free resits but students and external guests are able pay for additional resits.
What do I do if I miss my exam?
You can reschedule your exam but please note that you will be liable for the new exam fees.
What time will the exams take place?
Please check the message you have received from exams, and arrive up to 30 minutes prior.
Most exams start at 17:30 (5:30pm).
